Mary Wilson Obituary

Mary Sue Wilson, 91 of the Old Sweetwater Road community in Robbinsville, N.C., left her earthly home Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at Graham Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Born and raised in Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Belle Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Wilson; and her brothers, Frank and Edd Cooper.
She is survived by her daughters, Darla Colvin of Robbinsville, N.C., Joy Carchidi of Anderson, S.C., and Jennifer Rogers of Jasper, Ga.; and her son, Richard Wilson of Simpsonville, S.C.; grandchildren: Haize Colvin Lewis of Asheville, N.C., Branyon Colvin of Robbinsville, N.C., Austin Colvard of Easley, S.C., Tyson Goddard of Pleasant Hill, S.C., Brad Carchidi of Martinez, Calif., and Jade Carver of Robbinsville, N.C.; and sisters, Maxine Perkins and Essie Waters of Robbinsville, N.C.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Marty Maxwell officiated. Burial followed the service at the Old Mother Cemetery.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., Nov. 19 at the chapel, prior to the service.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Wilson family.
