Joseph "Joe" Peter White, age 68, of Grand Haven, passed away on October 16, 2025, at home. He was born on May 13, 1957, in Grand Haven, MI, to the late Lyle and Kathleen (Mendel) White.
Joe married Linda Bischoff on December 28, 2019. Joe graduated from Grand Haven High School Class of 1975 where he was a football player and on the swim team. He then went on to Grand Valley State University where he earned his bachelor's degree.
Joe owned and operated Joe White Photography for years, was an on-staff photographer for Amway, was a fashion and bicycle model, and also drove for Harbor Transit. Joe loved the water, had a zest for life who enjoyed snow-skiing, water-skiing, surfing, fast boats, motorcycles, and piloting a plane. He also enjoyed the outdoors, bike riding, camping, and hunting.
Joe had a reputation for honesty, ethical, and considerate behavior towards others. He inspired countless people with his positive spirit and fortitude in the face of adversity with an enduring ability to love and laugh.
Joe is forever remembered and missed by his loving wife, Linda; his four children: Joshua (Kendra) White, Emma (Joey) Simonelli, Ken (Sylvia) Bischoff, and Ben (Brandy) Bischoff; five grandchildren; his nephew, Josh (Kimber) White; grand-niece and nephews; sister-in-law, Raynel White; his cousins, as well as his many (often life-long) friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steve White.
The Memorial Service for Joe will be held at a later date to be announced. Interment will be at Grand Haven Township Historic Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Tri-Cities Y.M.C.A., Trinity Health at Home Hospice-Grand Haven, or Hope Church.

I will always remember Joey for his infectious smile and laugh. Throughout his battle with cancer, he maintained a positive energy that had a remarkable way of making you forget about any of your own troubles.
