Lawrence Marcinak Obituary
Lawrence (Larry) Marcinak, age 79, passed away October 30, 2024. He was born on April 11, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his wife Debbi, his parents Alex and June Marciniak, his son Larry II, great granddaughter Athena, brothers Lex and Michael, brother-in-law John Wozniak, and son-in-law Steve Theis.
He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Theis, daughter-in-law Mitzi Marciniak, granddaughter Nicole Pettrey, great grandson JW, and grandson Daniel; sisters Ann Willard, JoAnn (Norm) Davis, Mary (Lou) Rodriguez, Carla (Paul) Mason, Rosanne (George) Simikowski, brothers Roman (Julie) Marciniak, Winthrop Marciniak, and Frank (Jane) Marciniak, brother-in-law David (Sue) Elnick, very good friend Janice, his beloved dog Alfie, and many nieces and nephews.
He married Debbi Wozniak on August 1, 1974. Larry served in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1969 on the submarine Threadfin. He owned and operated A&A Chassis until 2014.
Larry loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, traveling with his wife, and car races.
Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 9, with visitation from noon to 1 p.m. and funeral from 1-2 p.m. at Grace Assembly of God, 2956 E. Pontaluna Road, Fruitport, MI 49415.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Assembly of God; Noah Project, 5205 Airline Highway, Muskegon, MI 49444; or your local food pantry.
