Matthew Alan Devine, aged 40, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024 in Muskegon, Michigan. Born on November 5th, 1983 in Lincoln Park, he was a wild child from the day he was born. While still young, his family relocated to Grand Haven, where he grew up and made many lasting friendships throughout the years.
Matt was a skilled welder at Haworth in Holland, where he worked alongside his brother, Mitch. Outside of work, Matt cherished the moments spent with his daughter, Evelyn. His love for her was profound, and he dedicated much of his free time to making memories with her, which will be treasured forever.
Matt is survived by his beloved daughter Evelyn Devine; Evelyn's mother, Nichole Zuidema; his parents, Michael and Tina Devine Sr.; his brother, Michael (Jackie) Devine Jr.; his neice, Gracie Devine; his brother Mitchell Devine; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Anna Devine, and Judy and Paul Hurst.
Visitation with the family will be held at Klaassen Family Funeral Home, 1500 Robbins Road, Grand Haven, MI on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
