I just found out about Byron's passing. I'm so very sorry for the loss of the great friend and great son I know he was. I remember his willingness to be there for his friends and his kindness toward them. Thank you Tina & Al for welcoming Byron's friends, including myself, into your home. I am sorry for your loss.

We have many memories of what a caring young man Byron was. We appreciate how kind and caring he was to our niece Jenna. We enjoyed the trips he made to Indiana with her to visit us. We are praying for your family during this time of loss. Mike, Laurie and Lauren Johnson.

Byron found his way into the hearts of our family a long time ago. He was a very caring young man. We will miss him! Jenna's grandma and grandpa.

Byron was a student of mine in second grade. I was subbing at Crestwood. Students who did not put names on their paper were told they would have to come up and I would give them a big kiss on their cheek. Byron erased his name and brought his paper up! I could never forget him as he was an exceptionally sweet, kind boy.
Thank you for sharing him for a short time, Tina. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Byron, I remember the first time we met and how quickly we became bffs. We always had so much fun together, whether we were playing bags, camping, watching movies, or eating lol. You could always put a smile on my face, no matter what my mood. I am so happy I got to see you on my last visit home, I just wish we had more time together. I will see you again someday though. I love you. I miss you. RIP my friend.

I didn't know Byron very well, but know he had to have a gentle soul like his mom. You can see it in his eyes. Thoughts, prayers and hugs to Tina, Al and his whole family and friends through this very difficult time.

Byron was that guy that I ran into everywhere I went. And each time, we picked up like we had just saw eachother the day before. He was a great friend, and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

I remember when Byron first moved to Rockford,joined my 5th grade class. Doyle and I would walk down to his house almost everyday after school.Great guy, he will be missed.
