I first met Don working on the trim wall line at Kelvinator around 1963. We were reunited at GM from which we both retired about a year apart. I enjoyed many conversations with Don about his biblical studies. Don was a very devoted man of God. I pray God will comfort your family in the assurance of his salvation.

I´ll always remember "Donnie," my special cousin. We played together as youngsters at our aunt Cobie´s farm. And Donnie played the trumpet at my sister Dolores´s wedding reception. Most of all, however, it was with his steadfast patience and kindness over the years that Donnie led me to a (much) closer walk with the Lord. For that, I am eternally grateful! Jan, may the Lord comfort you and your family now and give you strength. You have my heartfelt condolences and prayers. Sally

To the family I would like to send my condolences and prayers. I worked with Don at Diesel Equipment many years ago. When Don lived up north in the Howard City area off of M82 we use to share car pool rides for a period of time. I am glad to see that he followed his dream and devotion. God be with you all and help you through the loss of your loved one.

Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your husband and father. We appreciated his warm conversations when he would come to our house for family visitation.
