Sietsema, Gary Mr. Gary Bryant Sietsema age 62 of Jenison, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday October 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Jelt Sietsema, and his beloved sister Sherri Sietsema. Gary will be deeply missed by his wife of 32 years Frankie (Oates) Sietsema; his daughters Jessie (Matt) Glass and Erica Sietsema; his grandson Harrison Glass; his brother Keith and Kathy Sietsema; his beloved aunt Ariea Bosman; his mother in law Martha Oates of Tucson, AZ; brother in law Tom (Karen) Oates; his sisters in law Monica Lumiere and Bridget (Tom) Shangle; many nieces and nephews Jerry (Mandy), Elizabeth (Collin), Nick (Jessica), Nicole (Brian), Joshua and Christopher; dear friends Erik and Brooke Lee. Gary was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and later graduated from Western Michigan University in 1983. He worked for over 36 with the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to spend time with his family, live music and all Michigan sports teams. His loving and calm gentle spirit will be sadly missed. The funeral service will be held Friday October 15 at 11:00 am at First Evangelical Covenant Church 1933 Tremont NW where his family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Mortuary, 585 Stocking Ave NW. Per Gary's wishes please no suits or ties, please wear your favorite concert tee shirt or favorite tee. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
