Harry John Heilman, age 93, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julianne Heilman; son, Timothy Heilman; sisters, Betty and Mary Alyce; brother, Robert. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Heilman; children, Julie (Steve) Lundberg, Valerie (James) Paas, Laura (Henry) Bakhuyzen; step-children, Rodney (Nikki Hinkson) Mosier, Dawn (Craig) Brown, Brett Mosier; grandchildren, Jamie (Matt) Quick, Jennifer (Joe) Petack, Carmen Bakhuyzen, Amber (Dave) Nickelson; step-grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) Tate, Terri Velting (John Fiebig), Taylor Martinez, Mitchell (Abby Reuille) Mosier, Jacob Mosier, Brett (Shelby) Mosier, Becca Mosier, Paul (Haley) Brown, Joshua Brown, Nathan (Cassidy Werts) Mosier, Ashlyn Mosier; 9 great grandchildren, 11 step-great granchildren; sister, Phyllis Grenier; many nieces and nephews. Harry was an avid gardener, who loved to eat, never turning down an opportunity to share that experience. He also loved to travel and had a genuine interest in Genealogy, which you could find him working on for countless hours. Harry served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He had a career as a Consolidation Manager for Freight Consolidation which later changed to B & W Interstate, where he stayed until his retirement. Harry loved his family very much and will be deeply missed by all. He was a long time member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 8, 12:00 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet the family for a visitation on Friday, June 7, at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, where a rosary will be prayed starting at 7:30 pm. Harry will lie in state one hour prior to mass at church starting at 11:00 am.
