Robert Yff Obituary
age 87, of Grand Rapids went to the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Agnes Yff; step mother, Jeanette Yff; brothers and sisters, Adam Yff, Sarah Wiersma, Gertrude Yff, Peter Yff. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Annette; children, Sheryl John, Henrietta "Bambi" Malone, Bob Yff Jr., Crystal Ray, Tammie and Sean Johnson, Larry and Jonetta Yff; grandchildren, Renee, Jesse, Glen, Sondra, Pam, Wayne and Jess, Marissa, India, Jai'Onna, Rosco, Donovan, Jaylyn and Sid, Essence, Boston, Jourdan, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, Zara; many great and great great grandchildren. Robert graduated from Pine Rest School of Nursing in Grand Rapids and Hackley School of Nursing in Muskegon, MI. He retired from Holland Homes' Fulton Manor at age 74 and later served as a volunteer, always caring for the elderly until he became one. Robert was a long time member and choir member at First Christian Reformed Church. He loved his family and his Geezer's group, and he enjoyed golfing, camping and fishing. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, 1:30 pm at First Christian Reformed Church 651 M.L.K. Jr St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507 with Rev. Randy Buursma officiating. Burial Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to David's House Ministries on Banner St. Condolences may be sent online at www.stegengafuneralchapel.com.

I will always cherish the times we spent with you in Grand Rapids uncle Bob. You have made such a positive impact on my life. You and aunt Annette had a small sign resting on a shelf by your tv. It simply stated "Too blessed to complain." I've never forgotten those words and they guide me every day. Love you.

My sympathies to you, Annette and family. I have fond memories of you and Bob as a foster and adoptive parents, running into Bob at Meijer´s and Bob providing care for my mother at Fulton Manor. He certainly had a servant´s heart .
