DeVries, Tom 12/12/1943 - 4/11/2021 Tom DeVries, age 77, of Walker, went to be with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time woodworking and being with his family. Tom was a Christian School teacher for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bea DeVries. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn; children, Kirsten DeVries, Nate and Dawn DeVries, Joel and Connie DeVries, and Rebecca DeVries; 11 grandchildren; brothers; Ron and Jackie DeVries, James DeVries; and sister-in-law, Phyllis and Bob Brands. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, April 15, from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16, 1:30 pm at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale SW, Walker, 49534 with Rev. Jon Mahtani officiating. Burial River Bend Cemetery.
