Cynthia Thomas Johnson was gathered to her ancestors on 17 July 2022, 12:37 p.m. … Her three-year struggle with cancer has ended - she died at home in Balsam Township in the company of family.
Cynthia was born in Butler, PA, on 12 September 1950. Her career was focused on education … she held certifications as a guidance counselor, vocational educator, special education teacher, principal, and superintendent and had hoped to continue teaching until she was 100.
According to her wishes, there will be no public service. She was cremated at Rowe's Funeral Home in Grand Rapids, MN.
She is survived by her husband, L.L. Johnson, and three children, Kurt, Kelly, and Mara and two granddaughters, Kirstie and Maia.
