Linda Lee Booth
1942-2024
Linda Lee Booth, 81 of Grand Rapids, died on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in the Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital.
She was born on December 2, 1942 in Bemidji, MN the daughter of Lee and Myrell (Smith) Antle. Linda was a longtime area resident. She married Richard Booth on May 28, 1965 in Bemidji, MN. She was a member of the Bethel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Bovey, where she was active in the quilting club, where they donated quilts overseas. Was a longtime member of the Arrowhead Library Board, Secretary for ELCA's, very involved with sexual abuse survivors and was a public speaker for the cause. Was an avid square dancer for 45 years, was an avid reader; she belonged to various motorcycle clubs and traveled coast to coast on her bike. Linda hosted 3 foreign exchange students over the years, which are still like family to her.
Survivors include her husband Richard Booth of Grand Rapids, her children; Roy C. (Cynthia) Booth of Bemidji and Laura Friday (Brian Wallner) Thorn of Madison, WI. Her grandchildren; Riordan, Rex and Revelin Booth, Cody (Ricki) Bennett and Emma Wallner. 2 great-grandchildren; Ciera and Mylo Bennett, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and 2 sister-in-laws; Jean Jaranson and Jeri Belchner of Side Lake, MN.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the 11: AM Funeral Service on Monday, February 26, 2024 in the Bethel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Bovey. Interment will be in Bemidji at a later date.
