Nancy Peterson

1948 - 2026

Age 78, of Marcell, MN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 27, 2026. Nancy grew up in Deer River, MN. She was a long-time resident of Plymouth, MN where she helped to raise her family with love and devotion before moving to Turtle Lake outside of Marcell, MN to enjoy retirement in God's Country. She was a devoted member of her "Bridge Club" since 1973. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds and pontoon rides with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean every winter to visit various islands to procure treasure maps for the grandchildren's annual treasure hunts at the lake. She was particularly fond of Little Cayman and made many friends through her travels. Just like her father before her, she never met a stranger. She was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She will be missed by all who know her. Preceded in death by parents John and Dorothy (Hawkinson) Carroll. Survived by her loving husband of 55 years, David; children, Jenny (Dan) Reed, and Adam (Jenn) Peterson; and four loving grandchildren, Jonathan Reed, Jacob Reed, Grace Reed, and Wyatt Peterson. Funeral service at Calvary Golden Valley Campus on Tuesday April 7th. Visitation begins at 10 AM. Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Memorial Gardens to follow. Memorials preferred to the ALS Association.
