Carla Mills Obituary
At her request, no formal services are planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory.
Carla was born Dec. 8, 1948, to Sid and Pearl Doss, in Weaverville, Calif. She was raised in Fremont, Calif., and graduated from Mission San José High School in 1967. After high school, she entered Fremont Beauty College and received her cosmetology license in 1972. In 1982, she moved to Fairfield as the owner of the Silver Dollar Bar, which she owned for 10 years. Carla enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping.
Survivors include her father, Carlis (Sid) Doss; and her sister, Carol Blanc, both of Fairfield, three brothers, Jim Johnson of Fairfield, Dennis Doss of Nampa, Idaho, and David Johnson of Richmond, Va.; two nieces, Laura Cannonizado of Elyria, Ohio, and Lisa Doss of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a nephew, Bill Doss of Livermore, Calif.; and her former husband, Kim Mills of Fairfield.

It's very sad to see Carla's passing. She had a love of life that few people achieve. She also had compassion, which I've never forgotten. God bless.
