Cheri has been a friend to our family since she was a little girl. She played with my kids in the backyard. Wendy was her special friend and they visited either at the nursing home or over the telephone for years. We will miss her. Carole Spahr & Wendy Myklebust

I worked at the manor several years ago and Cheri was always the first one there for Bingo to find her special cards. She was always ready to go and be a part of any activity. She was really a sweetheart.
Yeah, Cheri.... no more wheel chair

Rick & I use to have a great time going to the Great Wall Buffet with Cheri; then over to the DQ with her, she loved the Heath Bar Blizzards. We will always remember those days! :)

Cheri--I will miss seeing you when I come to work from now on. You had a wonderful smile and personality. I think your greatest happiness were your grandkids--being a Grandma, and also a Mother. R.I.P. Love, a friend and caregiver, Cathy Doyon, CNA

Although I never knew Cheri that well, she was a special love in Uncle Bud's life and as a Dad, my heart aches for him. The one thing I remember most was Cheri's incessant smile; she always seemed to have that silly grin on her face. A remarkable trait given the health hardships she endured throughout her short life. I'm sure the Lord has prepared a special place for her in heaven, free of pain and suffering. Cheri's at peace.

Bud and Orsie,
It is funny how when you want to say something that your heart is feeling, it just doesn't work. So I'll go another route.
I remember one time Cheri was in Butte and she and I went to see Indiana Jones. We had a great time until old Harrison Ford was dangling over the pit of asps--I don't know who was more scared--Cheri or I!! We laughed about that scene all night! Everytime I see anything associated with Indiana Jones, I think of Cheri, and always will.
She was a bright, sparkling star in your life. Now her light will shine on us all.
Love you so much,
Geri

Cheri, life is made up of moments. The good moments stay with a person forever. One of those moments was on the day you were born and the huge smiles you brought to the faces of your grandma and grandpa Atchison. When I was a young man and boarded the train to come back east, you cried and got on with me. I will never forget the excitement on your face whenever Aunt Elaine and I would come to visit you. You had a way of radiating the room. You never asked for much in your life, but, you sure knew how to return the joy. Whenever we visited you, we could never find you. They always said you was a social butterfly and that you was around somewhere. We always knew not to look in your room because you were never there. I will miss visiting you whenever I come to Montana, and I will always remember the joy on your face.
Rest in peace and thank you for the joy you brought us.
