Elias Wipf Obituary

WOLF CREEK - Elias E. Wipf, 73, of Milford Colony near Wolf Creek, died Monday at a Great Falls hospital, of congestive heart failure and complications from diabetes.
His funeral is noon Wednesday at Milford Colony, with burial in the colony cemetery. Croxford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughters, Christina (Peter) Kleinsasser and Debbie (Eli) Hofer of Milford Colony; brothers, David (Mary) Wipf of Springdale Colony, Paul (Sara) Wipf and Rev. Daniel (Susie) Wipf of Big Sky Colony and Amos (Annie) Wipf of Milford Colony; his sisters, Dorothy (Rev. Joseph) Wipf of Hidden Lake Colony and Elizabeth E. Wipf of Big Sky Colony; his granddaughters, Susie, Katie, Martha, Esther, June and Lydia; and his grandsons, Joe, Ron, Mike and Sam, all of Milford Colony; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elias was born Jan. 21, 1937. He married Katie A. Wipf on July 20, 1960.
Elias held various jobs during his working years. He was a cowman for 16 years, a chicken man for six years and was also a broom man.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie, on July 4, 2000; his brother, Paul, on March 13, 2006; and his brother-in-law Paul on Sept. 16, 1999.
