Ella Farley Obituary
Great Falls —Ella Margaret (Rada) Farley, 92, passed away of natural causes at a local assisted living facility, Friday, August 2, 2013. Visitation will be Monday, August 5th, 9:00-5:00, Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Avenue. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 6th, 10:30am, Croxford Funeral Home, Pastor Trish Johnson officiating. Private family burial in the Big Sandy Cemetery will follow the services.
Ella was born October 15, 1920 in Verona, to George and Sylvia (Compton) Rada. She was raised in Big Sandy. She married Carmen Farley on July 4, 1939. They spent 66+ years together until his passing in 2006. Her career was helping Carmen on the family farm and raising their four children. She attended the United Methodist Church in Big Sandy. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, crafting and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. After the kids left home, Ella and Carmen sold the farm (1984) and moved to Great Falls.
Her survivors include daughters Dorothy Ackerman, Barbara (Stephen) White, and Trish (Warren) Johnson; five grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Ella is preceded in death by her husband; brothers Harold, Harry, Elmer, and Earl; sister Bessie Ulmen; son Eugene; granddaughters Marci and Kimberly; great-granddaughter Brittany; and her parents.
It is suggested that memorials be made to the charity of your choice, in Ella's memory.

To the family of Mrs. Ella Farley. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Farley was blessed with 92 years of special mightiness. (Psalms 90:10) May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of time spent with her as you remember a life well lived. May the Hearer of Prayer bring you strength and peace in your time of sorrow.
