Dear McIntyres,
I had the true pleasure of meeting your father, husband, grandfather, and father-in-law, on many occasions. I very much enjoyed his smile and sense of humor and admired his wisdom, generous spirit, and his love and commitment to his family. I know he will be sorely missed. I only hope that I can pass into the next world like he did -- between a strike and a beer!
My deepest sympathy,
Paula Weber (friend of Vicky --and Frank)

To Helen, Vicky, Kathryn and family.
We are very sorry. We had the pleasure to know Frank for almost 10 years. We did not often meet in person, but from the first minute on he impressed with his warm, open-minded and humorous personality. And that is how we are going to keep him in our memories. Big hugs from over the great pond! Werner & Conny

Dear Vicky and family,
It was such a pleasure getting to know Frank during our Germany trip and then again last summer when the two of you spent the night at our house before the Kliegl family reunion. If there is one thing I could change by turning back the clock it would be to have the McIntyres make regular trips to Iowa for family gatherings so we could have spent much more time with all of you. I am left feeling empty at Frank's passing, but glad for at least the short time we had together. He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. Wishing you all love and comfort.

He will be missed. Love, Sharon Van Winkle (daughter of Dorothy (Kliegl) Beck; granddaughter of George Kliegl, Cylinder, Iowa.

To Helen and Family, I so enjoyed Frank's humor, accounting skills, and willingness to explore new ways to spend his retirement years. He worked with Vicky and me to publish a case study for college business professors to use in their courses because he wanted to help future business people learn. He certainly made a positive difference in the world. Such a loving, generous person. My prayers are with you.
