I first met John working at the Smelter; he was a hard worker there and continued to be the rest of his life. When I needed help John was quick to respond. I am thankful to John for some great memories. John will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to John's family.

Barbara, Tom and I send our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss of John. We often talked about you two, having spent nearly four years in Havre at the college in the same classes. I see where John used his degree as a teacher and much, much more. Blessing to all your family, may John shine down on you from above and bring you the happiness you and family deserve. God Bless you, Larry

What a great guy! Known John and Barb since the early 1980's. Always felt welcome at the ranch. When he would come to Great Falls, It was always great to visit him. Lots of wisdom came out of his mouth....He will be missed.

I don't know where to start with what a great man John was and how much he meant to me and my family. John always made you feel welcome like you where family at the ranch and if you ever needed something he was the first to help. My kids never left from seeing John without getting a treat ( candy bar, chips) he had the biggest heart of anybody that I know. If I ever had a question from mechanical, cattle, fabrication or wildlife and many other subjects he would stop what he was doing no matter how busy he always was and take the time to talk and answer questions. He hasn't touched so many people's lives and is so respected by everyone that knew him. I know that John is in heaven chasing elk off the alfalfa and videoing bears. Good by my friend you will forever be missed.
