Kathy Loss Obituary
FAIRFIELD —Kathy Mae Loss, 52, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN.
A cancer survivor of 8 years, she developed heart problems and had recently been flown to Mayo to await a heart transplant. She received her new heart on October 5th, amazing the transplant team through her successful surgery and rapid progress so much so they called her a "rock star!" Early on October 15th, she suffered a stroke that would sadly take her life four days later!
Kathy was born on January 23, 1964 in Great Falls, Montana to Francis "Babe" Loss and Katherine "Katie" Loss. She became co-owner of Fairfield Drug, Inc. in 2005 following previous employments at Eagle Grocery, Lloyds Drug and Barrett Drug.
She was a life-long member of Fairfield Assembly of God Church, and a born again follower of Jesus. Kathy loved people, photography, all of the outdoors and traveling.
She never complained of her illnesses. Kathy wanted to be remembered for her smile and her encouraging words.
Kathy is survived by her two brothers, Bob (Janice) of Fairfield and Keith (Judy) of Great Falls; three nephews and families, Leonce (Pam) and Chloe and Brody of Two Rivers, WI, Kenny (Brenda) and Noelle of Lewistown, MT and George and families of Bakersfield, CA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny in 1954; her dad in 1993; and her mom in 2014.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Schnider Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28th at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Fairfield, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28th at New Life Church in Choteau, MT.

Kathy's pretty smile and sweet spirit will be missed by countless many. I grieve with you for she is no longer with us but rejoice with you knowing she is safe in the arms of Jesus, and you, her family will be united with her one day. Praise God!

I remember when Kathy first started at the drug store when Lloyd and Shirley owned it. She was quite the prankster in the time we worked together. She seemed to always have a grin and look in her eye on what to do next . My deepest sympathies to all of her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kathys family at this difficult time! I didn't get up to see her at the store all the time but when I did she always had a smile and would joke around with you even on some of her worst days! She will be greatly missed by many! Fly high with the angels Kathy and we'll rest assured you are watching over us!

Fairfield lost a solid citizen and friend. She has moved from being an angel on earth to being an angel in heaven. My condolence to her brothers and their families. She and Mom Katy are enjoying being together again. Blessings to all of the Loss family.
