Lloyd Miller Obituary
Great Falls - Lloyd Jay Miller, 94, of Great Falls, passed most peacefully from natural causes March 12, 2018. Loving husband to Betty J. Miller, Lloyd passed with great dignity into the arms of his Lord and Savior. A life long example and follower of his faith, Lloyd is survived by his six children; son, Lloyd Miller of Great Falls, Craig Miller of Armstrong, BC; daughters, Claudia (Curtis) Westersund of Calgary, Alberta, Lynn Miller of Victoria, BC, Robin Miller of Great Falls, and Joan (Rob) Maleschuk of Calgary Alberta. 15 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren.
Lloyd was an amazing self-employed business man running Lloyd J Miller & Sons Painting and Decorating Company, with his son and wife for over 60 years. His name sake Lloyd Robert Miller continues his family legacy today with Lloyd R. Miller Painting and Decorating here in Great Falls, Montana. Lloyd also opened and established Wallpaper World with his son Lloyd and wife Betty and ran that until it was sold to his daughter Robin Miller. Robin changed the business from Wallpaper World to its current business of design and furniture sales, The Decorating House on Tenth Ave. South. With an iconic, strong and sturdy confidence Lloyd lived an exemplary life. He was a man of his word and was adored by his wife Betty and their six children.
A candle lit celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 25 at 6 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. Friends and family are encouraged to bring their bibles and read a favorite passage. There will also be a reception to follow also at Croxford Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please feel free to share a bible with someone that may not have one.
