Margaret was born in Fergus County (Roy) on Sept. 11, 1925, to Arthur P. and Sarah (Thomas) Jones. She attended school in Roy and was a graduate of Stevensville High School in Stevensville. Margaret married John Ward in 1946, and together they raised their family on a wheat farm near Moccasin.

While living in Great Falls, Margaret became interested in learning to play duplicate bridge. She took bridge lessons, joined the American Contract Bridge League and bridge became her passion. I am so sorry for YOU and your family!!!!! She had the ability to make us all feel comfortable and secure. I will never forget her smile. I talked to her a few years back and she was just the same to me as when we were in school. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Derinda:
Sorry to hear about Margaret's passing. She and John were like my Montana parents when I moved here in 1971. They were always fun to have them at our square dances. We had many great times on the dance floor.
She will be missed.

Derinda, I am sorry for your loss, I was Margaret's great niece, Bill was my grandfather. Ron is my dad. I saw Margeret last when we went to Canada for the big reunion. I remember her saying when she saw my son Austin that she felt like she was starring at her brother when they were children, she couldn't get over how his eyes looked just like my grandpa Bill's. I didn't get a chance to know her well, but from what I recall she was such a sweet and funny lady!
