Marlene Franklin Obituary
Great Falls —Marlene Fern Franklin, 81, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016, at Peace Hospice of natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the care of Croxford Funeral Home. A Graveside service is planned for this Friday, January 29th at 1:00 pm at Highland Cemetery.
Born July 1, 1934 in Great Falls, MT to Melvin and Vivian Campbell, Marlene grew up in Fort Shaw. She married Bill LaBelle, and although this union ended in divorce, they were blessed with three loving children. Marlene was lucky enough to find the love of her life, Douglas B. Franklin, whom she married in 1972. They spent many wonderful years camping and fishing at Holter Lake, and remained together until his untimely death in 1991.
Marlene enjoyed beautiful flowers, playing bingo, spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and of course, her beloved little dog Misty.
She is survived by her son, Bill LaBelle; daughter, Debbie LaBelle; grandchildren, Lacie Mae Anderson, Lena Marlene Witkowski, Fawnda Lynn Hawkins, Jesse LaBelle; 5 great-grandchildren.
Those who have preceded her in death include her beloved husband, Douglas B. Franklin; daughter, Cindy LaBelle-Hawkins.

Greetings Deb,
Hope all is well with you. We miss you very much. We also want to thank you for your gift. It was a loving kindness we really appreciate as we are awaiting the outcome of the surgery. Anxieties are off the chart, thankfully we have Jehovah to turn to and tell him what's on our minds.
So how are the friends at your Congregation? Hope they get to appreciate you like we did. Marsha tells me you KH is on the water or has a waterfront view. That sounds so nice. Any chance you will come back and visit sometime in the future? You are always welcomed in our house, we have a bedroom ready.
I also attached my tomato sauce recipe for you to enjoy and think about us here in NC.
