Nancy Logozzo Obituary

Nancy Claire (Hoon) Logozzo, 62, of Great Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 15, at her home, following a long illness.

At her request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory.

Nancy was born June 15, 1949, to Jack and Virginia Hoon, in Missoula. She was raised and educated in Missoula, graduating in 1968 from Sentinel High School.

She married Don Livingston in 1973; they later divorced. She met Jack Logozzo while studying art at the University of Montana, after he worked up the courage to ask her out. Nancy and Jack were married Jan. 28, 1989, in Drummond.

She graduated from UM with a bachelor of fine arts degree. She and Jack graduated the same day.

Nancy's lifelong passions were art and homeless animals. She was a caring, giving, loving soul with a brilliant smile and sensitive nature.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; twin brother Kirby Hoon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was the niece of Kirby Grant Hoon, the actor who played "Sky King" in the 1950s and early 1960s television series.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Janice Hoon.

Memorials in Nancy's honor are suggested to helping homeless animals.

Oh, Nancy. I was going to send you flowers last month because you were on my mind. I called you 'Sis' because you were like a sister to me. We had such fun at the Russell Museum. I still hang up the Santa you gave me every year. Jack, I am so sorry for your loss. I always told Nancy that you were a lucky man to have her. She loved you dearly.---Steve Shelton
