Virginia, so sorry to read about your Mom in the Tribune. What a sweet little lady. I remember helping her & you at The Bon in Great Falls in the 80's & 90's. She always looked so nice & always had a story to make me laugh. Also, helped you both at Herbergers. She was so sweet. Always had nice things to say about my Mom & Myrna in Lewistown. She will be missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to you & yours. God Bless you at this time of sorrow.

Dear Madonna and Virginia,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family on the loss of your mother. I remember her well from my growing up years. It was my good fortune to be in Cascade for a gathering recently at the Methodist Church when you all were there, too. It was nice to have a visit with Olive. She gave me one of her birdhouses and I have it sitting in the window to brighten up the winter. She was a special lady and I know she will be missed.

Virginia and Madonna, My prayers go out to you. I am so sorry to see Olive go.
We were putting Christmas decorations away, and I said, "Leave Olives out, I am not done enjoying it yet." She was so thoughtful.
I just always felt bad I couldn't find anything for her feet. Now she doesn't have to worry about that.
She was certainly one of my favorite people. Thinking of you.

Dear Madonna and Virginia,
I remember your mom with great delight as she was always such a sweet cheery deary. She was so cute about her new hats and said she would never wear them out in public until she got to know them well by putting them on and at least making the beds at home so they would feel familiar when she went out. That always stuck in my head as I think of getting used to new outfits and I remember what a good laugh it was. Bud and I remember a wonderful dance that we went to at your ranch and Bud remembers their special friendship to us especially George's Masonic affiliation and the help he offered to Bud as he went through the chairs of the lodge to become Master.
You two will always have such wonderful memories of your wonderful parents as we do. Bud and Sharon Britton, Cascade,MT

Virginia, Tom, Dean and family,
My sincerest condolences to you all on your loss. Olive was such a lively person, I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with her. I felt especially blessed that I would get to see you and her when you would come to Cascade for functions. It felt like home for a day.
I did not know until today that we shared a birthdate. Hopefully I will live at least as long as she did and with her zest for life. I will always remember her smile and her kindness.
Many Blessings to you all.

My condolences to Olive's family. She and George were our neighbors at Cascade all the years I lived there and what great people they were. I was stuck on the road going home once and walked to their place for help which they gave me and also said that if they weren't home the keys were in all the outfits help yourself. We really missed them when they left Cascade. I'll always have fond memories of them.
