Paul Rue Obituary
Great Falls —Paul Leonard Rue, 59, of Great Falls, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Highland Cemetery Columbarium. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.
Paul was born January 25, 1956 in Minot, ND. He attended several schools in several states due to his father being in Civil Service. Paul graduated from Kimball High School in Nebraska in 1974. He worked in construction for several years until retiring due to disability.
Paul loved helping his friends, family, and neighbors. He was readily available to help anyone in need. Paul had a kind and generous spirit and his smile could light up a room. There wasn't a day that went by that you couldn't find him at the local McDonald's visiting with the regulars. Paul had a lifetime love of animals, especially dogs. He also had a great sense of humor and he loved to tell or hear a good joke.
Paul is survived by his wife, Carol Flegel Rue of Steele, ND; sisters Jan (John) French of Lincoln City, OR, Joanne Bishop of Great Falls; Lynda (Greg) White of Watauga, TX, Karen (Pat) Moe of Great Falls, and Bonnie (Scot) Schwisow of Lynden, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Mildred Rue

Carol and Paul's Family,
Still remember the first time I met Paul. We worked together at Subway all those years ago. Paul you were always very willing to learn anything and you made working with you fun. We always ran into each other and seemed to pick up where we left off the last time. Carol you were a complete gift from GOD for Paul and the love of his life. He always made it known to everyone you two met. May the love of our Lord and Savior comfort you and guide you on your journey Paul...and Carol please know Paul's continuing LOVE is watching over you...

Paul was my best friend as a child in Minot North Dakota. I will always have good memories of the Rue family and Paul. I'll always remember Paul with love. God bless you, Paul
