Toni Bishop Obituary
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 4th Ave Sw. Conrad.
Toni passed away following a courageous battle with cancer; her family was at her side. She was a beloved wife, dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Toni was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Conrad to Earl Sheldon and Cleo (Stokes) Sheldon. She was a 1972 graduate of Conrad High School and married the love of her life Jerry Bishop of Brady on Oct. 28, 1972. For the past 21 years, Toni proudly worked at Farm Credit Services of Montana, where she was promoted to Operations Manager over the Northern Montana District in 2006. Toni was active in the community, she served on the Brady School Board for 12 years and was a longtime member of the Brady Community Hall Board.
Toni and Jerry made a home in Brady in 1977 and never left. Her true calling was as a mother to her three boys Beau, Tucker and Cade. She never missed an opportunity to cheer them on from the stands and in life. In December 2011, Toni was overjoyed to become a grandma to Payden James Bishop.
Toni was an avid fisherman and could often be found chucking steel into Nilan Reservoir. She loved camping and horseback riding at Benchmark and her family reunions at Holland Lake. Later in life, she relished the chance to travel, most often to wherever her boys called home. Among her favorites were Florida State and Ohio State football games, the beaches of St John, USVI, Glacier Park and even the Kentucky Derby.
She is survived by husband of 40 years, Jerry; children Beau (Amy) of Columbus and Tucker and Cade of Brady; grandson Payden; brothers Dale Sheldon and Earl Sheldon; sisters Esther Klette and Carol Verbus; and extended family and friends. She will be forever missed and loved.

I am so sad to hear this news. I did not know her well, but my mom would often call Toni to chat when we were passing by Brady on our way to Great Falls. My mom, Nancy Johnson, of Valier, died of breast cancer at age 47 ten years ago when I was a senior in high school. My heart breaks for her family as I know how hard and unfair the situation is. Love and prayers to all who knew and loved her, especially Beau, Tucker, Cade and her husband.
