Frank A. Brozovich

1940 - 2022

Frank A. Brozovich was born on June 22, 1940 and passed away on July 15, 2022 at the age of 82. He was a Colorado native and long-time resident of Fort Lupton, Colorado. Frank graduated high school in 1958, joined the US Air Force and served from 1958 thru 1963. Frank married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life Lila Skinkle in 1959. Frank ran a farm and milked cows until 1976. In 1976 Frank sold the farm and began working for Amoco Oil retiring in 1994. In 1979 Frank joined the Fort Lupton Fire Department as a volunteer. Frank served as Chief of the Fort Lupton Fire Department from 1986 to 1989 retiring from the Fire Department in 1994. Frank was elected to the Fort Lupton Fire District Board in 2002 and served until 2010. Frank enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling to Hawaii, Mexico and loved all family activities. He was adored for his ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable. He will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lila; daughter, Tammy (Bradley) Acre; granddaughters, Ashley (Chayce) Cione and Dr. Brittney (Jacob) Justice; great grandsons, Wyatt Cione, Sawyer Cione, and Kaiden Justice; sisters, Margaret Roskop and JoAnn (Sam) Rarick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Greg Brozovich; his parents, Joe and Anna Brozovich; brother, Nick Brozovich; and sisters, Virginia Stanek and Dorothy Smith. A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9:00-9:45am followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00am and a Graveside Service at 11:00am. All service will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229. The family would like to ask everyone to please wear a mask to Frank's service.
