Norman Walso

Norman Frank Walso of Greeley, Colorado passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Denver. He was born November 26, 1935 to Ole and Alice (Cole) Walso in Denver. He attended Greeley High School and served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea in the '50's. Norman worked at the U.S. Mint for over 30 years. He enjoyed sports, fishing and golf. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; three children; Will Wyatt, Jody Wyatt and James Stewert. A grandson, Mack Stewart, a special niece, Beverly Severns and her family Jamie Thomas and Joel Severns. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and a nephew, Alan Severns. His family would like to give special recognition to Jamie who visited Norman every week while he was in a Denver care facility. A Graveside service will be at 1:00p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2023 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Friends may send condolences to the family at adamsoncares.com.
