Angus McGillivray Obituary
Ocala Florida - Angus McGillivray, 68, passed away September 24, 2016. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 24, 1947 to Wilfred and Marian (Lutsey) McGillivray. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Mary Joann McGillivray; son, Matthew Corey McGillivray; daughters, Angela Boltinghouse, Kimberly Hayley; brother, James McGillivray; sister, Catherine Zimmerman; grandchildren, Brandon, Codey, Laura, Noah; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Maddison, and Brandon, Jr.; and nephew Karl Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Hugh McGillivray, and the twins, sister Mary and brother Joseph.
We loved him as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. We knew him as a man with a wonderful sense of humor. We knew him as a man who unconditionally supported those who were unfortunate, in troubled circumstances, or otherwise in need. We knew him as a man where there wasn't a camping or fishing site he didn't treasure. Angus was a navy veteran serving during the Viet Nam War. He was a Supervisor for Good Humor Ice Cream for 33 years. We will miss him and his love.....both will forever live in our hearts!
Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd. Anthony, FL. 32617 (352-620-2006)Visitation will be one hour prior. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.

I worked with Angus at Western Lanes shortly after we both got out of service. He was always upbeat and friendly and very much a fun guy. I've thought of him from time to time & I'm happy to discover that he had a happy life with a wonderful family.
