Jeanquart, Anthony (Tony)

Anthony (Tony) Jeanquart, age 78 of Kewaunee died on Friday, February 17, 2017 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a born on January 3, 1939 in Lincoln Township to the late Wilford and Laura (Gilson) Jeanquart.

Tony graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1957. Tony operated a dairy farm in Southern Door County early in his life. He was member of the United Association of Plumbers and Steamfitters. He worked and supervised construction projects in the United States and Canada. He retired to the real estate business 20 years ago and started Town and Country Real Estate in 1995. He was member of the Wisconsin and National Association of Realtors, active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and past Master of the Kewaunee Masonic Lodge.

He loved sports, wrestled in the professional wrestling circuit and played semi-pro football with the Manitowoc Chiefs in the central state football league. He was a licensed charter boat captain and founded the Great Lakes Northeastern Wisconsin Sportfishing Association.

He is survived by his daughter Roberta (Bobbi) Jeanquart, Arlington, Virginia and son Darin (Janel) Jeanquart, Green Bay, and his special friend Betty Bultman. He has two grandsons Brayden Jeanquart and Walter Thomas Palmer III. He is also survived by brother Robert (Jan) Jeanquart, Bradenton, Florida, Madonna (Razz) Sohr, Marie (Gregg) Sekela, both of Gillett and sister-in-law Barbara Jeanquart, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his extended family of Jeff and Jody Kassner, Michael Bultman, Michael and Jenna Bultman, Tyler and Yvonne Kassner, Brittany and Brandon Luedtke, Austin Kassner and numerous beloved great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Magdaline, Mary and brother Wilfred Jeanquart.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by Dcn. Chuck Agnew. Visitation continues at Holy Rosary Church after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Rosary Church would be appreciated.
