Bruce Krueger Obituary

Krueger, Bruce R.

Bruce R. Krueger, 71, Tomah, Wis., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born Nov. 2, 1941, to Edward and Ruth (Stueber) Krueger in Mandan, N.D. He attended East High School, Green Bay, Wis. Bruce proudly served his country as a member of both the United States Army and United States Navy. He had a career in real estate in Milwaukee, Wis. and ran his own employment agency in Flagstaff, Ariz. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomah.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Bill) Raney, Oakland, Calif; three grandchildren, Lauren, Liam and Owen Raney; two brothers, John (JoAnn) Krueger, Tulsa, Okla.; and Mark (Cindy Riner) Krueger, Green Bay, Wis.; three sisters, Lo Ann Krueger, Ketchum, Idaho; Bonnie (Bill) Hudson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Peggy (Mike) Thorpe, Minneapolis, Minn.; and one stepsister, Faith (David) Brooks, Florissant, Mo. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents E. H. and Ruth Krueger; a stepmother, Esther (Lemke) Krueger; brother, E. James Krueger, Santa Barbara, Calif.; sister, Margot St. Clair, Stinson Beach, Calif.; and stepbrother, Marlo Lemke.

A committal service will be held on Oct. 18, 2013, 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clyman, Wis., with military honors. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, Tomah, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
