Christopher Hoffman Obituary
Christopher "Chris" G. Hoffman, 52, Kaukauna, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, March 20, 2014. He was born in Green Bay on August 16, 1961, to Gary J. and Johanna "Joanie" M. (Heim) Hoffman. He married Catherine A. Moravec, March 7, 2012, in Mexico. Chris was employed with J & W Enterprises in Green Bay for over 25 years. His enjoyments included fishing, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy; two step-children and one step-grandson, Brittany Lieske, Benjamin Lieske and Jameson Rasner, all Appleton; his parents, Gary and Joanie Hoffman, Green Bay; two sisters, Shelley (Tom) Rahlf, Merrill; Tracy (Kelly) Gerondale, Green Bay; and one special niece, Sophie Gerondale. Numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends further survive him.
Chris was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Hoffman; one brother-in-law, Mike Mayer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Colleen Moravec; aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Friends may call between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday, March 24, 2014, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street, Green Bay, WI 54302. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home with Sister Helen Keyzer officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, it truly saddens me. I have some wonderful memories of Chris and I when we were just kids, he and I grew up together in Allouez. Our backyards faced each other. Even though I haven't seen him in many years, he was a terrific friend in the neighborhood. God Bless
