There may not be many who will take the time to honor someone who was at one time their Warden but had it not been for Mr. Bertrand's fairness and leadership, I wouldn't have been able to create a prison prevention program (B.R.I.C.K.) from inside @ GBCI and go on to complete my B.A. and Masters degree upon release (13 Years ago) and now I work as a Case Mgr. helping those who return back into the Community from prison to be postive and productive such as I! Thanks for helping me Mr. Bertrand, RIP and to the family!

I always appreciated Dan's passion to lead tours of groups from the community through GBCI. He valued the spiritual needs of inmates more than other wardens.
