Donna Woosencraft Obituary

Donna Woosencraft

Green Bay - Donna Woosencraft, 80, Green Bay and formerly of Pulaski, died peacefully Sunday, December 16, 2018, at a Green Bay hospital surrounded by her family. The daughter of Frank and Edna (Johnson) Van Dreel was born June 28, 1938, in Green Bay and was a 1956 graduate of Pulaski High School.

On April 4, 1959, Donna married Thomas Woosencraft at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple made their home and raised their family in Pulaski, and moved to Door County after their retirement. She loved having family and friends visit in Door County, and especially enjoyed having her family all together for their 4th of July celebrations. Donna had worked at WG & R and Gerondale Furniture for many years.

She enjoyed tending her flower garden and socializing with her bridge club and the "dinner club." Donna loved watching her grandchildren grow; she was so proud of her family.

Survivors include her husband Tom; her children: Peter Woosencraft, Abrams, Greg (Kathy) Woosencraft, St. Charles, MO, Ann Woosencraft-Keeler, Slinger, and Jane (Kyle) Weller, Wauconda, IL; nine grandchildren: David, Amy (David), and Anna (Michael), Lauren and Tyler, Summer and Savannah, Jack and Natalie; two great granddaughters: Nicole and Camille; siblings: Dale (Sandra) Van Dreel, Dean (Linda) Van Dreel, Diane (Neil) Ditzman; a sister-in-law, Mary Van Dreel; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Elaine Woosencraft; one brother, Frank Van Dreel and an infant brother; her parents, Frank and Edna; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emlyn "Curly" and Angeline Woosencraft, and a nephew, Jeffrey Van Dreel.

Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, Parish Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 119 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Green Bay Oncology, Unity Hospice, and the wonderful nursing staff, 9th floor, St. Vincent Hospital.
