Frances Sarapuchiello Obituary

SARAPUCHIELLO Frances (nee Calabrese). of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 28, 2011, at the age of 96. Prior to retiring she was a buyer for S.S. Kresge in Paramus. Frances was an avid Bingo player and Gardner; she especially enjoyed preparing large Holiday meals for her loving family and keeping up with current events on the nightly news. She was a former member of the Rose Buds Club of Hackensack and a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late John J. Sarapuchiello Sr. (2007). Loving mother of Janet Shaffer and her husband Donald, Michael Sarapuchiello and his wife Aline, Nicholas Sarapuchiello and his wife Marion, Rose Pifer and John Sarapuchiello Jr. Cherished grandmother of Lori Shaffer, Denise Pifer, Stefanie Shaffer, Michael Sarapuchiello and Nicole Sarapuchiello, great-grandmother of Derek Sarapuchiello, Kyla Sarapuchiello and Abigail Hammond. Dearest sister of the late Frank, Carmine, Joseph, Michael, John Calabrese and Joanna Policastro. Frances is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday May 2, 2011 at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
