Genevieve Santy Obituary
Genevieve M. Santy, 93, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 in Shawano. She was born on June 10, 1921 to the late Rile and Mary (Seidl) Young in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Gen was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Loberger, in 1960. In 1963, she married Keith Santy; he preceded her in death March 12, 2005. She had been employed by Freeman Paper Company for 38 years. Gen enjoyed music and dancing as well as maintaining her flower garden and watching birds in her yard.
Gen is survived by one son, Ronald Loberger, Green Bay; one grand-daughter, Tammy Loberger and her fiancé Todd Baxter; three great- grandchildren: Dawn and Josh Walker and Gregory Prust; two great- great- grandchildren: Ava and Lincoln Walker; daughter-in-law, Joan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her husbands, Gen was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Loberger; and five siblings: George (Madelyn) Young, James "Jimmy" Young, Francis "Willie" (Angela) Young, Mary (Erv) Bauer and Marjorie (Carl) Gross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 4:00 pm until the prayer service at 6:30 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Visitation will continue on Friday, January 30, after 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1224 12th Avenue, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Rev. Don Everts officiating. Entombment will be at the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
Genevieve's family would like to express a special thank you to the attentive staff of The Cottages Memory Care, Shawano, and the wonderful nurses of Heartland Hospice for the exceptional care that they provided.

Genevieve will be sadly missed. She and Keith were my 'Kissing Cousins' and Keith always said. Her Mom was one of my very favorite aunts as I was growing up. Her mom, Mary Young was my dad's sister. My dad was James W. Seidl. It is always sad when we lose a loved one. May she rest in peace and live on in the hearts of those family members who loved her.
