My family and I send our condolences for your loss. As you endure this difficult time of sorrow, please turn to the Most High God for strength and comfort as his word assures us at Jeremiah 29:12,13 "you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."

What I remember about Jerry is the evidence of his faith in Jesus Christ. Whenever I would give a gospel hymn concert at Woodland Nursing Home in Suring where Jerry was a resident in recent years, he would know all the hymns. Despite his health limitations, he'd mouth the words and get part of the tune out.
