Jason Wiese Obituary

Jason Matthew Wiese, 41, Hilbert, passed away at his home, peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Nov. 21, 2011. Jason fought a courageous battle against melanoma for almost three years. He was born on Sept. 16, 1970 in Green Bay. Jason is the son of James and Joan (Dombrowski) Wiese of Hilbert.

He graduated from Hilbert High School in 1989. Jason attended UW Stevens Point and majored in Natural Resources. He started his 20 year career with the State of Wisconsin. He worked as a Ranger throughout the state in many of the beautiful state parks. He finished his career at his dream job as Manager of High Cliff State Park with the Department of Natural Resources. He was so proud to care for the beauty of nature and the people who came to visit. Jason enjoyed nature with a passion in life. He loved taking walks in the woods, camping, biking and most of all spending time Up-North at the cottage with his family. He also was a great cook and enjoyed making his famous chili. His favorite past time was deer hunting by the teepee and catching bluegills at the point in the pontoon. He was so proud watching his boys go deer hunting for the first time this year. Jason loved coaching and watching his boys in their sporting events. He watched his boys have an undefeated Little League season in which he was so proud, from softball to football to basketball, he never missed a game. Jason loved life and his family. Everyone who met Jason respected him for the kind, caring and compassionate man he was. He was certainly someone who people looked up to.

Jason, proud dad to his boys, Mason, Hunter, and Sawyer, who are his pride and joys, is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Susan (Boll) and her children, Damon and Isabella; his parents, James and Joan Wiese, Hilbert; siblings, brother, Jamie (Kristine) Wiese, Hilbert, their children, goddaughter, Taylor, Hallie, Madison, Delaney, and Emmery; sister, Jennifer (Todd) Konen, Hilbert, their children, godson, Tristan, Gabrielle,

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, from 10 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Holy Family Church in Brillion. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. with dinner to follow.
