Karl Vanidestine Obituary

Vanidestine, Karl J.

Karl J. Vanidestine, 27, Green Bay passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Karl was born on June 30, 1987 in Green Bay to Ken and Ann (Lyons) Vanidestine. He graduated in 2005 from Green Bay West High School with the class of 2005. Karl had worked at Pizza Hut and APAC Customer Service. Currently he was employed at Harper Corporation in De Pere. Karl enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He belonged to a pool and volleyball league and always had fun meeting new people. Karl loved his family and enjoyed the times spent with them and especially cherished his family dinner nights with Amanda and her children.

Karl is survived by his parents Ann and Ken Vanidestine, 2 brothers Jason and Bryce, his grandpa Garry Krueger, a special uncle Steven Lyons, his special friend Amanda and her children Connor and Dalayna. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends and close members of Amanda's family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Susan Krueger, James Vanidestine, Beverly Theys and other extended family members.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Resurrection Lutheran Church 1024 Shawano Avenue. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Ed Baseman officiating.

In Lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established. A special thanks to all those who expressed thoughts and wishes through social media, visits to our home, the meals and the gifts. Also, a warm note of appreciation to the Harper Corporation for all of their assistance and visits~ your kindness will never be forgotten.

Karl was a registered organ and tissue donor, his thoughtfulness and selfless gift will help approximately 50 people~ we are very comforted and proud in knowing this.

Ann--

My thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time. There are no words for a parent who has lost a child, but know that there are many people here for you and your family! Your son's final act of kindness in being an organ donor will live on forever, much like your memories with him. I hope that gives you some comfort. Thinking of you!

Ann & family...I want to express my sympathy at this time of loss. It is difficult to understand when things like this happen, but God has a plan, one we can't always see. The fact that his passing means so many other people will have a new start, because of his generosity, is a wonderful tribute to a kind soul. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You are the love of my life and always will be. The kids and I love and miss you and will keep all our wonderful memories of you alive in our hearts. You were the smartest, kindest, most selfless, funny, sweet, loving man I have ever met in my life. Words cannot express our pain and our love for you. It hurts to wake up and not see you next to me, but I am so glad I got to share that with you, as well as all the other things we did together. You were an amazing father to the kids and will be sure to tell them everyday how amazing you were. We will hold you in our hearts forever. I love you, Boo Bear. I hope you feel my love and embraces and kisses that I am sending your way. Thank you for everything and for bringing me into your family. I cannot thank you enough for all that you are and all that you did out of the kindness of your huge heart. Your family, my family, and all your/our friends love you and miss you. Watch over them, okay baby? I know you will. Until we meet again...
