Kay Stascak Obituary
Kay E. Stascak, 68, Brookside, passed away suddenly early Wed. morning, May 17, 2017, at a Green Bay hospital. Born Aug. 16, 1948, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, she is the daughter of the late Elvin and Agnes (Closs) Smith. Kay married Richard "Dick" Stascak on March 30, 1968 in Kincheloe Air Force Base, MI. She was employed as an accounting clerk at various businesses throughout her life. Kay will be remembered for her enjoyment of country music, her beloved animals, and her wonderful sense of humor. She was especially proud of being a military wife and a dedicated wife and mom.
Kay is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dick; two daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle Stascak and Patti and Greg Hohn; siblings, Terry and Sharon Smith, Kenneth and Sharon Smith, John Smith and Patricia Smith; sisters-in-law, Terry and Tom Hendricks and Karla Stascak: brother-in-law, Roger and Tammy Stascak; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Francis and Anna Stascak; brother-in-law, Larry Stascak; sister-in-law, Jeanette Smith; and niece, Tara Stascak.
A celebration of Kay's life is being planned for this summer in St. Ignace, MI. Simply Cremation is serving the family. Visit www.simplycremationgb.com to share condolence with the family.
Kay's family extends a special thank you to the caring staffs of the Emergency Dept. and the Dialysis Center of St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls; also to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital, 6th Floor.
