Dear Ruiz Family,
Keith could light up a room in an instant with his smile and was so jovial everyone always wanted to be around him. I was blessed to be a “Kween” for his college social group BIG and wish the years since college and miles from each other were not so great or far. It never felt like that much time had passed until I learned of Keith's passing as we always picked up where let left off in our conversations and banter, our last meeting not quite two years ago. I can still hear his voice and feel his amazing presence when I think of him and the fun we had. He is gone from us to soon. You are in my prayers. I miss you Monkey!

Renee, John, Grayson, Jade & Family. It's very difficult to put into words how we feel about the loss of Keith. He could make me smile no matter what. Seeing him show up at Scouts, I knew there would be a good time. Kathy and I, will always remember our fun evenings together with Renee and Keith at Jake's Pizza and the Top Hat. We are honored to be friends of your family, and look forward to being with you through the remaining years of school, scouting and beyond. We give thanks for all the wonderful things Keith gave to everyone. ~The Nelsons

I am so sad to hear of Keith's passing. I was fortunate enough to be his Hall Director when he was an RA at Burke Hall at SNC back in the mid 90s. When I think of Keith, I think of him teaching me to play Madden football, his green and gold Zubas, his charming smile, our surprise birthday party for his 21st birthday, and the way he effortlessly balanced enforcing the rules with earning the respect of everyone around him. As it goes, we lost touch over the years and briefly reconnected over FB. I was happy to know he married and started a family, and my deepest condolences go out now to Renee, Grayson, Jade, Jonathan, and all Keith's family.
