Laura Kust Obituary
Laura C. Kust, 93, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was born on August 5, 1923, in Racine to James and Adelle (Brice) Renpaul.
Laura was 6 years old when her family moved from Racine to Green Bay. She attended Green Bay West High School. Laura worked for Kraft Cheese where she met her future husband, Robert "Bob" Kust and they were married in Green Bay. He preceded her in death in November of 1984. Laura loved her family. She was an avid gardener. She loved baking, especially bread, making art, doing pottery, and spending time outdoors.
Laura is survived by her four children and their spouses, Randall (Jane) Kust, Terry Sullivan, Peggy (Keith) Champine, John (Sharon) Kust; grandchildren, Laura, Leo, Katie (David), Michael, Jenna, and David; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Ellison; and her sister, Maggie Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents; and a brother, Harry Renpaul.
Friends may call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with her nephew, The Rt. Rev. Gary Neville, O.Praem, Abbot of St. Norbert Abbey officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Laura's name.
The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Alpha Senior Concepts for all the loving care they gave to Laura, and also to Southern Care Hospice, and Donna and Dawn.
