Lori Block Obituary
Lori Block, 73, Green Bay, died peacefully, Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence, following her battle with cancer. She was born in Wausau, March 13, 1939, to the late Franklin and Alvina (Augustine) Moellendorf. Lori married Ernest Block, in Green Bay on September 9, 1972. Lori served as a delegate to Baha'i National Conventions; as a member of a number of Baha'i Local Spiritual Assemblies; an Assistant to Baha'i Auxiliary Board members; long time member of the Green Lake Baha'i Conference Planning Committee; and represented the Baha'i Faith on the Brown County Board of Clergy for many years. She was the art director at Wemple Advertising agency for many years and oversaw the production/layout of the Green Bay Packer Yearbook.
Lori is survived by her husband, Ernest of Green Bay; their son and daughter-in-law, Jamal and Lisa Block of Tampa; 2 grandchildren, Aiden and Alex; she is further survived by many friends and family.
Visitation at MALCORE (WEST) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. Procession to Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Unity Hospice, especially Chaplain Steve Fewell, and Dr. Jerry Winkler for all of the special care they have provided to Lori.

Dearest Ernie, Jamal, and Family, I just heard about Lori's passing. I am saddened by the thought of not seeing her shining soul in this world. I have many happy memories of Lori's Baha'i delegate reports, the magical times at Greenlake, and more. What a great rejoicing there must be in the next world as she has been welcomed home. Our prayers will be for her progress and your comfort.

Dear Ernie,
I'm praying for you at this time of Lori's passing. I phoned today for Lori's birthday, and the phone was disconnected. With internet search, I discovered Lori's passed on March. 1st. I pray for you and Jamal and Lisa and Aiden and Alex.

Dearest Ernie and family,
Manijeh and I were grieved to hear of the passing of our dear spiritual sister. We have the fondest memories of Lori and know of her deep love for not only her family, neighbors and friends, but of her deep and abiding love for her fellow humanity of every color, creed, nationality and religious persuasion. She remains in our prayers and fills our hearts with smiles when we think of her. We are so fortunate to have had Lori and you as our friends.

Ernie, Jamal & Family,
May you find peace among the many great memories of Lori. She was such a special spirit and I am so blessed to have had her in my life, especially as a young child. She provided such a strong friendship to my mom and now they have been reunited. Take care & God Bless.
