Margaret Catherine Posey, 104, Green Bay, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at her home. She was born at home in Duck Creek to Robert James and Lillian (Stordeur) Brunette.

Margaret attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Elementary School and then St. Joseph Academy for two years until she had to drive her two siblings to Champeau School where she graduated and met the love of her life, Dwight Posey. They celebrated 60 beautiful years of marriage. Dwight died on July 18, 1991.

Margaret dedicated her life to raising her family and was a wonderful mother. She worked in their business, Posey HiWay Furniture Store, retiring 25 years later. Margaret was a wonderful cook and friend, welcoming anyone in to her home. She was the President of Ricklin Arts for a year and volunteered with the Catholic Women's Club where she also served as President for a year. Margaret enjoyed socializing with her friends and family, flower gardening, and going to the cottage.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth and Jean Posey, Gary and Shirley Posey, Patrick and Joan Posey, Clarita "Sue" Posey, Dennis and Sandra Posey, Michael and Kathy Posey; daughter-in-law, Norma Jane Posey; many many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; her son, Neil Posey; grandson, David Neil Posey; siblings, Cletus (Florence) Brunette, Mary Ann (Greg) Smith, Genevieve Everson, Kenneth (Elaine) Brunette, Barbara (Curtis) Olson, and Robert Peter (Mickey) Brunette.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
