Marjorie Kuss Obituary
Marjorie M. Kuss, 87, Little Suamico, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. The daughter of John and Nellie (Vanduerzen) Van Lanen was born May 21, 1926 in Wrightstown. On May 1, 1943, she married Frank Kuss at St. Joseph Church in Chase. Marjorie was a hard worker who held various jobs over the years, in addition to raising a large family.
She enjoyed crosswords, rummage sales, and flea markets. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time with her family, and going out to eat with her son, John.
She is survived by her children; Rose Ann Kuczynski, Green Bay, Tony Kuss, Texas, Betty Tutsch, Green Bay, Bernice Wichlacz, Pulaski, Richard (Diane) Kuss, Neenah, Eugene (Malia) Kuss, Little Suamico, Frank Jr. (Karen) Kuss, DePere, Darlene Irish, West Virginia, and John Kuss, Little Suamico; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son; sons-in-law, Tony Kuczynski, Mick Tutsch, and Norbert Wichlacz; four sisters, Esther (Lambert) Sanderfoot, Julia (Perry) Flahtery, Bertha (Ed) Purdy, and Rita (Ed) Vincent; and seven brothers, Adrian (Dorothy), Joseph (Florence), Sylvester (Lydia), Edward (Vickey), Clayton (June) Cyril, and John (Mary Ann) Van Lanen.
Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday. The visitation continues at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 6051 Noble St., Sobieski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chase.
The family would like to thank her close friend, Joyce Gracyalny, for her compassionate support, the ICU and 3rd Floor Staff at St. Mary's Hospital, and Pam Janssen and Marnocha Funeral Home for their care and concern.
