I haven't seen Mary in years but as young adults I do remember her as a straight shooter and her love for horses. You never had to guess where you stood with her which I admired. I had hoped to see her on her next trip to GB and was looking forward to it. I hope all the memories and stories will give the family great comfort during this time of loss. My sympathies to Hal and the entire family.

I've always admire my mother for her ability to be glamorous is almost any situations; and her ability to tell intriguing stories. My parents showed all of us what marriage is all about; each other. I will miss her dearly, but I know that she is with my grandmother and this gives me hope.

What a pistol; what a joy as a friend and neighbor. Mary had a flare for many things, primarily life and family.
She could spin a yarn and much time was spent between our yards listening and laughing to one of Mary's tales.
We were hoping that Spring 2013 would be officially declared by Hal driving Miss Mary through the neighborhood in her Jaguar convertible.
Mary grew beautiful peonies and we have a picture of one as our screensaver to remind us of warmer times spent with Mary and Hal.
For us, Mary is very much missed, but definitely not forgotten,

Mary's smile will be greatly missed in our neighborhood. We are blessed to be neighbors and friends. It helps to know that Mary is pain free and enjoying God's eternal love. Many prayers for Hal, Jana and all the family. We're here whenever you need us...
