Mildred Miilu Obituary
Mildred Lahti Miilu, Mass City, passed away May 17, 2015, at Unity Hospice in De Pere, Wis. Mildred was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Mass. to Nickolai and Sanelma Wertanen Lahti.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, son, Thomas, grandson, Kyle and son-in-law, Thomas Landree. Surviving are her daughters, Sharon Miilu Landree, Debra (Bill) Shardlow, daughter-in-law, Kathy, grandchildren, Brandon Miilu, Brittney Miilu, Amy (Eric) Herber, Eric Shardlow, Nick Shardlow and great-grandsons, Grayson and Ethan Herber, who always put a smile on her face. She is also survived by numerous special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mass City, with visitation one hour before the service. The Cane Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wainola Lutheran Church or Unity Hospice in De Pere, WI.
