I can't believe a year is over already since you went over the rainbow bridge. Be sure you are in our minds so often....we lost you but became our little grandson Johann and we wished so much you would have had the chance to meet him. He is such a sunshine. The baby pink house you used for your orientation still is not finished. Hope your sons and families found back in their life without you. You will always be part of ours. Maggie and Reinhold

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I have not seen him since Papa's (Sherman Hart) funeral back in 2010. He was such a wonderful friend to both my grandparents, Sherm & Gerry Hart and I remember lots of summers at the cottage when we would all spend time there. I have very fond memories of those years. My deepest sympathy for your family.

When i heard from my parents that one of my closest friends Paul isn`t here any more, i could not belive it, because we planned another trip this year.
I met him while working on a project for the US in 1999, and because his team here in Germany didnt know what to do on the weekend, i took them to our home, because i felt , i would feel them not too homesick, because at our place, everybody can speak English.
What happend on that weekend was the beginning of one of those very close friendships that are rarely found in life.
Paul, my dad and i did some cool trips over the next years, both in the US and Europe and he brought us to places i would never have seen in my life if Paul hasn`t been the person he was.
I hope that we were able to give him something back every time he was here in Europe, he used our place as a "base" for his trips and had a smile every time he came back.
There are too many good stories to tell here that Paul and i experienced over the years, but i will never forget a single one of those.
I will miss one of the greatest friends i ever had and will have.
May God bless you Paul, you were one of the humans that made a great impression on a lot of peoples lives...

So sorry to hear about Paul. He was such an inspirational teacher to me as an older returning adult student at NWTC, He raised the bar high and always made you to want to do better. Many of my professional traits of providing timely and accurate work can be attributed to Paul. My sympathies to his family.

How very saddened I was to hear of Paul's passing. When I started teaching at NWTC, he was one of my mentors and, above all, a good friend. God Bless!!

We are so very saddened to hear about Paul. We loved him and loved visiting with him at Luigis. Such a kind gentleman. We are going to miss him so very much. There will be such an emptiness now when we go there and he isn't sitting on his favorite seat. Our prayers are with all his family and loved ones.

Paul...in only about 4 weeks we planned to close you in our arms again when we come from Apolda/Germany to Green Bay. Now it comes different. I could write down so many wonderful memories about you ...what you loved to eat and drink here ,what we have had for funtastic trips to the Alps with Oma and Opa and other places you enjoyed so much but there would not be room enough here. We only can say " Thank you" ...you touched our lifes for ever, without you we would not have made so many friends in Green Bay and it all began with taking care for two young ladies on their first trip to the US in June 2001 and an email after this trip. You became part of our family immediatly and without you Juliane never have had a High School Year in Green Bay, never found her second family , Lynda and Roger Shaha. I could write down so much more things. Paul you were a gift to us, a gift you can not get for money. You will always have a special place in our hearts and we will talk about you often...you will be in our middle. My last phon talk with you was on Easter...I didnt know it would be the last time I would heare your voice. But Im happy it endet up with the words "love you". Rest in peace Paul....Thank you for every thing and it was a big honor to know you. I will always hear your voice saying: Heute ist der beste Tag meines lebens...Make every day to the best day of your life. We are sad ! Maggie and Reinhold with Juliane and Stefan
