Sally Nelson Obituary
Sally (Sophie) Nelson, 105, of Seymour, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, August 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born January 2, 1912, daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Nowak) Cichocki. On June 19, 1937, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Nelson. He preceded her in death January 28, 1984.
Sally was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, where she was a member of Concordia. She also was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Green Bay and Seymour. Sally enjoyed shopping, spending time outdoors, cleaning and cooking, but most of all spending time with her family, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Maynard) Maas, Seymour; grandchildren: Sally (Bill) Stewart, Buffalo Grove, IL; Susan (Tim) Warnke, Tega Cay, S. Carolina; Sandy (Fred) Ladenburger, Seymour; great-grandchildren: Shari (friend Cody) Stewart, Mark Stewart, Lauren (Eric) Olshefski, Emily Warnke and Jonathan Warnke; sisters: Irene Straub, Beatrice Schroeder, Alma Koerner, Ruth Verbick; sister-in-law, Ruth Cichocki.
Preceded in death by her five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Visitation will continue at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 9:30 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com

I've know Sally for almost 30yrs, lived across the street from her for about 25 years. She's One Classy, Sassy Lady! Will miss our visits, conversations and her many stories & getting all dressed up (3 inch heels included) to go to dinner when Terry went fishing. She surely will be missed!
